The Made to Measure Knowledge Center is an advanced learning facility conveniently located in the Chicagoland area for metrology and CMM training. Originally, we simply trained our engineers in-house to ensure they are always versed in the latest standards and best practices. Soon, however, it became apparent that many industry-leading manufacturers and machinists have their own CMM operators, and those operators also needed training at the level Made to Measure offers.

Comprehensive CMM Training Using AUKOM Standards

AUKOM is a world-wide standard of metrology with an international goal of strategically creating a uniform metrology industry. This standard is vendor-neutral, allowing you to take the skills that you learn and apply them to any coordinate measuring machine and any software.

  • AUKOM Level 1: Basic Metrology Training (4 Days)
  • AUKOM Level 2: CMM Training (5 Days)
  • AUKOM Level 3: Production Metrology (5 Days)
  • AUKOM GD&T (3 Days, no test)

Prerequisites: None

Participants will learn basic principles and applications, and how to interpret GD&T on engineering drawings.
Attendants should have a basic knowledge of blueprint reading prior to taking this course.

Blueprint Reading – 1 Day

Prerequisites: None

This course provides participants with an introduction to understanding and interpreting basic blueprints. We start with the proper way to read manufacturing blueprints and build knowledge from there. The training is 8 hrs and consists of direct instruction, classroom discussion, and hands-on interactions. Includes Blueprint Reading Handouts
